Under the baton of Fernanda Lastra, this musical journey introduces listeners to a parade of animals, from the majestic lion to the graceful swan, each vividly represented by different orchestral instruments. The concert offers a playful yet educational exploration of the orchestra, encouraging children to associate musical sounds and themes with the unique characteristics of each animal. It’s a perfect way to blend learning with entertainment, providing a creative and engaging introduction to classical music and the instruments that bring it to life. Deia & DEI Girls Panel
In honor of Women's History Month and girl empowerment, Deia will be participating in the Critical Concerns Week at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women in Brighton, NY. She will be a panelist for the Race and Diversity Panel for sophomores, taking place on March 13th from 9:38 AM to 10:38 AM, sharing her insights and experiences to inspire and uplift the next generation of women leaders.
